We did a wine flight and tour of the meadery next door. In total 7 wines and a tour for $38 was a deal. The owner gave us so many fun facts and answered all our questions. Super friendly local business, with unique flavors that you can’t find elsewhere. I really loved the honey wines!

This winery is a delight! Don't be put off by the location (it is in a bit of an industrial park near a towing place) they have done a great job making it feel nice inside and out. The wines were great, we tried the flight and got to try them all. The unfiltered versions of their honey wines were our favorite choices. Put this spot on your list!

My recent visit to Negus Winery in Alexandria, VA, was a revelation. Tucked away behind the metro station in an unassuming industrial area, Negus Winery proudly stands as the first Ethiopian Honey Wine establishment in the DMV area.
The tasting options, ranging from a single glass to a comprehensive seven-wine tasting for $35, showcase a distinctive collection not commonly found in the DMV. Each wine tells a story of craftsmanship and innovation that sets Negus Winery apart.

The delightful staff, whose names elude me, were not just sweet and welcoming but also displayed an impressive knowledge of the wines they poured.
